What we have to offer: accommodation
After your project has been accepted on the advice of our Scientific Committee, we will accommodate you at a preferential rate for a pre-determined period (from 3 to 5 years).
We will make available to you:
- more than laboratory/office modules averaging 75 m² in size;
- microfermentation laboratories that meet L2 biosecurity standards;
- microbiology laboratories that meet L2 biosecurity standards;
- control analytical support laboratories (HPLC, GC, electrophoresis, etc.);
- a suitable logistics environment for your particular business: washing unit, preparation room, centrifugation rooms, incubation rooms, chemical extractor units, thermostatic rooms, etc.;
- high-performance communication tools;
- shared common administrative services (cafeteria, library, meeting rooms, etc.).
To sum up, it is the ideal setting for the optimum development of your industrial activity.

What we have to offer: biotech supervision
Our main concern is to make your stay in the incubator as beneficial as possible through our strategy for supporting your development. To achieve this aim, we have put a Scientific Committee in place which, at your request, will guide and supervise you in your development by providing specific scientific and manufacturing advice.
This advice includes input from our resident team and external specialists from our Belgian and European biotech and microbiology networks.

Managerial guidance and supervision is provided by way of grants and is carried out by experienced consultants that you select.
These consultants will be by your side throughout the development of your project, providing ongoing assessment and coaching.
They will also assist you in your search for industrial and financial partners through our regional and international network.

What we have to offer: Process Development Division
On a pre-manufacturing scale, in a level 2 biosecurity environment, our GLP platform extends over 1000 m².
Its architecture consists of:
- four parallel fermentation lines (15-200-500 litres capacity);
- two protein purification lines;
- freeze-drying facilities for dry formulation;
- analysis laboratories for the traceability of your analytical monitoring (GC, electrophoresis, HPLC, etc.).
When you request it, and based on a short and flexible timetable, we will make our expertise in applied microbiology and the development of bio-processes available to you for:
- your feasibility studies,
- pilot-scale developments,
- process optimisations,
- obtaining active biological material in sufficient quantities for your toxicology studies and pre-commercial samples,
- the establishment of documented GLP production protocols.

The aim of our post-incubation strategy is to facilitate your integration into the region.
To help this process along, we maintain special links with various industrial and economic players in the Brussels Region through our active participation in the industrial redeployment strategy for the Brussels urban region (SDRB-GOMB, ABE-BEA, IRSIB-IWOIB, Brussels Incubator Umbrella Organisation, IBGE-BIM, etc.).
